After a couple of days of testing, I made the donation - not that the ads bothered me. I love free software, but I feel guilty about not paying for something that is so well conceived, comprehensive, easy to use and reliable. I agree that this should be in the editors choice list.

Works well. In HTC HD should hold phone vertically to get correct compass reading. May be reason others have complained.
